Hello, my name is Livia and I'm a graduate student at the Brain and Cognitive Sciences department at MIT. The main purpose of this blog is to force myself to review the scientific literature in my dissertation area. This is also an experiment to see whether it's possible to discuss current neuroimaging research in a way that's specific enough to be useful to people in the field, but general enough so that laypeople can follow along. We'll see...

I like your idea of using a blog to "force yourself" to review the literature and form some opinions about it.
I'm doing the same as I adapt the Mediterranean diet for people with diabetes.
As you write your dissertation, you may end up cutting and pasting some of your blog posts into it.
Best wishes,
